I am Thankful for

Day 2
On day to of my 30 days of thankfulness. I am thankful for my mom. She has guided me, taken care of me, and has helped make the strong independent woman I am today. I hope now that I am older I will carry on the characteristics she has instilled in me and pass it on to my future children.
To my mom you will always be the light at the end of my tunnel! I love you!

Day 1 I am thankful for

  DAY 1
So I just seen this great post on facebook from my friend about how for the whole month of November everyday to post something that you are thankful for. So I decieded instead of posting this on facebook I would blog every day of one thing that I am thankful for.
Today I am thankful for my wonderful fiance.

Jesse is my best friend, my support, and my rock in times of need. I have come to depend on him more than he even realize. He has changed my life in so many ways, I wouldn't be the person I am today if it weren't for him.

3 weeks down 12 more to go!

So I finished almost my first month of school. How do I feel about school now that I am this far in? Well to tell the truth I absolutly love it! The only thing I wish is that I could partake in more school activities such as clubs, studies, games, and just all campus life has to offer. It is alot of work but I expected as much. I am still working on my time management skills but I know that by the semester is over  I will finally have it down. Good thing for spring. This post isn't going to be very long because I don't have much time and need to finish my other projects before bed. But wanted to atleast right one post even though it is very small. However before I rap this pathetic post up I do want to make a list of things that I want to accomplish this semester.
  • Pass all my classes with a B or better
  • Go to atleast one ASU football game
  • Try and eat/drink at atleast five resturants/bars aroung campus
  • Partake in one ASU event that is not football
  • Make new friends
It's not a very long list but I am still super busy with work ( yes still on OT ) and of course WEDDING!! even though that has had to take a back seat for now.

409 DAYS!
until we meet again!

WEDDING NEWS!!

So I know that my last post was last published on May 9, 2012 as per my cover page when I entered into my blog but I have to admit that I have been pretty busy with LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS!!! of over time at work, getting everything set and ready for school, keeping up the house and all that comes with it and of course doing some more searching for the BIG day!
Speaking of the BIG day I am proud to announce that Jesse and I have finally found our venue! We will be tying the knot at The Arizona Golf Resort on yes OCTOBER 26,2013.

When I went and took the official tour, not just web stalking on Facebook and Google I new that this is were I wanted to announce my commit to Jesse in front of all our family and friends. But not only is this place beautiful is also is amazing with all the perks and goodies it comes with let me just make you all just a little jealous.hehe..just kidding..
The Day of the wedding ( or day before whichever he decides ) Jesse and his gang of cohorts will get to play a round of 18 on the newly seeded golf course!
We also each get a grooms room and bridal sweet, I also get a room the night before the wedding; and a honeymoon sweet with strawberries and champagne for the end of a great night! So our guest don't have to drive very far we will be doing the ceremony and reception in the same place; also they will be applying discounts for any guest that will also be staying at the hotel for the wedding.

This is literally a picture of our actual reception hall.

Ceremony site don't mind these people couldn't find a picture without a wedding shot.lol.
And above all else I love all the great spots for unforgettable wedding pictures!!! Gotta have great pictures to make tons of scrapbook pages!
I just can't wait for the big day to get here, when I can finally marry my best friend and man of my dreams!!
431 Days!

Last Saturday Jesse and I met up with my High school mama and her husband the Dirty Germain to support them and their three the wiener dogs, Buddy,Ruby, and Lego in the wiener races. I have never seen so my wieners in one place in my whole life.

The races differentiated between age youngest to oldest. They were all so cute in their little races outfits!

Even though all our pups took last place we all definitely had a lot of fun! We will be ready to win next year for sure!!
Until we meet again!

Coyotes Hockey!!

This past Friday I took Jesse to his first ever NHL Hockey Game. Which is crazy because hockey is his favorite sport. But I guess in his home state of Oregon there is no professional hockey team so it makes sense for him to have not seen a game.Well to start off awhile back I promised Jesse that if the Coyotes make it to round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs we would go to a game. Well the team did in fact advance thus how we ended up at the game on Friday night. Jesse was so excited it was like a little kid on Christmas morning.
We had seats that were kind of high in the stadium but the nice thing about the Glendale Arena is there is not really a bad seat in the house. You can even read the players' number on their jersey.
Even though I have never really been a huge fan of really any professional sport. I have come to enjoy hockey. All the fights, body slams, and puck shots can really be quite entertaining. Jesse likes to call me his hockey buddy now. I guess we can make another note on our list of things we have in common. Next up will be another live game with the DBacks. Although if Jesse has his way we will be seeing alot more of the Coyotes!

Until we meet again!

One year Six months and counting!

So as I was talking to my friend Alicia about her wedding ( exactly one year before mine!) coming up and I realized that it is now only one year and six months until my wedding!! It's still quite a ways away but I figured its not to early to start looking at venue ideas. I would really like to have the ceremony in one location and our reception in another. I never realized how much work it would be to find someplace that would do only the ceremony and not do the reception. Even though we have hit a little bump I still found plenty of amazing placing venue sites that have caught Jesse and my attention. So far we have a top three at this point in the game.

I have always loved stonebridge. I find this place gorgeous with beautiful ground and wonderful decorations. It would be great for amazing wedding pictures!

Arizona golf resort has a beautiful ceremony site with the beautiful Arizona mountains behind them. I can't wait to take a real tour rather than a virtual one

Dobson Ranch is a great location for a reception. I am personally aware of this because my sister (matron of honor) had her reception. The prices are great and the staff is very friendly.

Be expecting as the date gets closer to hear more and more wedding news! It will only get worse!

Until we meet again!
